WiFi was intermittent and staff was too busy to reset the router!

On our first visit to the NS Mayport RV Parks @ Pelican Roost and Osprey Cove, we were immediately impressed by the sense of community displayed by the staff and volunteer workers. We were fortunate to arrive in time to celebrate patron appreciation day and enjoy a catered meal while we learned of MWR efforts to keep the RV spirit alive at Mayport. Since our last stay the National Guard has upgraded all the electrical hook-ups from 20amp to 50 amp service. They have installed partitions in the male latrine to take it from a 1940's open style community bathroom. As stated in another post, a new dining facility is open to retiree's and meals are $5 for B/L or Dinner. In 2010 they plan to move the PX from it's current location to a larger facility across the street. Hopefully more...

Another outstanding stay at this premier RV MCG Resort. The grounds are immaculate, the staff friendly. Sad to hear rumor that rates will soon rise to an unequivocal $33 per night! We have asked that WiFi be complementary as it is in all Navy Lodges. The water faucet proximity sensor in the bathrooms are timed too short. A great place to stay in Southern California though!
