WOW, as a Army guy I figured that the USNA FamCamp would be terrific. Really any Walmart would be better. Worst campground we have visited. We arrived thinking we could bike the three miles to downtown Annapolis, not so-very little bike friendly roads. Too far to walk. Good news easy walk to commissary and NEX. We stayed at NWS Earle in site 1. Once you figure the sewer (middle of pad) and electric at the center back. We initially set up with the sewer under the middle of the coach, water not connected as we were too far back, electric fine. Next morning we moved the coach about 15’ forward so sewer was just under rear of coach, water and electric were both good. To get up on the pad had to gun it...

The good-this is Key West with lots to do. This park is substandard with most facilities overcrowded and dirty. Sunset lounge is good. People were very nice. Just way overcrowded for the facilities. If you like noise and carbon monoxide you will love the generous generator hours 0700-2300 with extensions granted for late football games. A nice change would be to have a section with limited generator hours. Maybe (Gasp) 0800-2000 or shorter. In 3.5 weeks with nice temps...

We made reservations last year for spot 1. This is the best of the four as you are not facing your neighbor and do not have a sewer at your patio. One of the nicest military RV parks we have had the "joy" to visit. Flowers are wonderful, pick up a bouquet at the office,just return the vase. As a military pilot I love the sound of Freedom. Other than it is a bit of a hike from NC it could not be better. We will come back again. $25.00 per night
