Views are beautiful. But, not much to do on Island other than hunting and fishing. Camping on base: There are four (4) full hook up sites and four (4) dry camping spaces. $30 for full hook up spaces and $15 for dry spaces / day. It is Alaska....land of expensive.... So, in the lower 48 I would say the spaces are not worth $30 and $15. All the spaces are located in former base housing quarter's parking lots. The...

Wow what an improvement at the Wright Patterson Fam Camp!  Stopped in there to visit someone who was staying there. Host is doing a great job!  Very helpful.  Few homesteaders help daily cleaning the place up. This place has turned around in the last two years or so. The drop box for paying will soon be moved to the laundry room.  That will save the walk/drive over to the lodge (where the drop box is now located at). Word...

Bath rooms and showers dirty. Trash not emptied. Never cleaned the two weeks we were there. The old RV area is tent camping only now. Laundry room also dirty. Never cleaned. Trash can was full and stayed full. Recommend NOT getting a space in the row facing the bath house. Unless you want to hear the kids banging on the electronic noise maker play station. Overall not a bad RV park...... But, office says no staying beyond 45 days in a 12 month period. I may be wrong on the exact number of days. But do believe it is 45 in a 12 month period.
