We just finished a five week cross country trip from FL to CA and back in May. We stayed at 9 military RV parks. All are very different. We absolutely loved staying here. The RV park is located a few miles from the main part of the base. However, the views at the lake are so beautiful. The clubhouse is large and clean. We recommend visiting Fort Rucker Aviation Museum. It was wonderful and free. We will be back....
We just finished a five week cross country trip from FL to CA and back in May. We stayed at 9 military RV parks. All are very different. This was by far my favorite military RV park. It was nice and quiet. The folks there are extremely helpful and nice. We stayed in the clubhouse watching TV and using the Internet while we did our laundry. The commissary and Exchange is a few miles away from the RV park....
We just finished a five week cross country trip from FL to CA and back in May. We stayed at 9 military RV parks. All are very different. Some spaces have covered picnic tables and some do not. Also was quite windy when we were there. Small but clean bathhouse. We were surprised how affordable the food was at this commissary so we loaded up. Not much in terms of clubhouse, but we were able to get wifi in...
We just finished a five week cross country trip from FL to CA and back in May. We stayed at 9 military RV parks. All are very different. The section we were in has level gravel lots. There appears to be another section of older sites. There are homesteaders here, and it stays quite busy. Location was great for access to shopping and site seeing. The utilities are shared between sites so the RVs tend to have to park...
We just finished a five week cross country trip from FL to CA and back in May. We stayed at 9 military RV parks. All are very different. This was my least favorite park on the entire trip. There are level, spacious, concrete spaces. The lady that checked us in was nice and friendly. However, there is NO bathhouse, NO bathroom, NO clubhouse. Nothing really but the spaces. You have to go over to the gym if you need...
We just finished a five week cross country trip from FL to CA and back in May. We stayed at 9 military RV parks. All are very different. We ended up staying here two different times on our trip because of the proximity to Sedona, the Grand Canyon, Flagstaff, and Mormon Lake. The sites are not paved and not really level. There is no sewer hook ups. There is a bathhouse and some port-o-potties. It is nice and quiet....
We just finished a five week cross country trip from FL to CA and back in May. We stayed at 9 military RV parks. All are very different. This is just a lovely RV park in a very quiet area of the base. We actually saw deer as we were walking around. Nice level concrete sites with full hook ups. The bathhouse/ clubhouse is clean. I have nothing negative to say about this place. I cant wait to return...
We just finished a five week cross country trip from FL to CA and back in May. We stayed at 9 military RV parks. All are very different. We called a reserved a spot. We got there after hours, but they had the information for us at the front door of the clubhouse. Very nice park, nicely laid out with level concrete sites. We only stayed one night but we would come back again. It is on the back...
We just finished a five week cross country trip from FL to CA and back in May. We stayed at 9 military RV parks. All are very different. We were lucky and got the next to last spot available for the night. Seems to be some homesteaders here. All amenities were nice including the bathhouse and clubhouse. Large, clean, and level concrete spaces. Kept up very well. This is more of an urban RV park not located inside the...
Monthly rates are now $350 per month. We are staying here now for 2 months (the maximum) right on the lake. VERY quiet, small place. No Internet or cable available. Takes about 20-25 minutes to drive to the area from the Fort Gordon front gate.
