Awesome place to stay! The RV park is like new throughout. The pads are nice, long, level concrete pads, and all are pull through. Site are 20/30/50a, water, sewer, and cable. There Office, laundry, and latrines/showers are in the middle of the campground. A nice sidewalk with lights runs throughout the middle of the park to the office. Laundry was $1.50 to wash and $1.50 to dry (as I recall). The laundry room was nice. The restroom/shower room was really...
We went up to White Sands Missile Range because Fort Bliss was filled. We took the highway 213 from El Paso to the base. The road was nice 2 lane with wide shoulder the entire way. No problem going through the back gate. Check in at the MWR facility in the old golf pro shop was easy. $10 a night is unbelievable for a FHU facility. All 8 pads are pull through with 20/30/50a, water, sewer, grill, and shelter....
We could not get a reservation here. Tried about a month out, no luck. Tried a day out, no luck. We ended up staying about 1 mile down the road. We did visit the RV Park just to see what we were missing :( The park was nice, spaces were large, and the pads were all concrete. It is nice and close to the water. The Laundry and restroom buildings look nice but I didn't stop and go in...
Great place to stay. When you enter the base on Liberty there is a serpentine at the gate, but we are towing a 35' Trailer and had no problem getting through the gate. The RV Park is at the end of Liberty drive, so once you go through the gate keep going straight. When you get to the RV Park sites 1-10 are on the left side and 11-21 (no #13, lol) are on the right side. The sites...
Good luck getting a spot! It is crazy that they don't take reservations. So go ahead and show up pulling a 35 foot trailer, squeeze into the small parking lot and pray you get a spot. In all fairness, I did call that morning and they said they wouldn't know if they had any openings until 1330. We were arriving at 1330 so there was no need to call them back. I don't understand how you wouldn't know if...
Very nice facility overall. The RV Park is out away from the rest of the base, but is a convenient drive to everything you need on base. The Park was not full which was a surprise to me. There was plenty of room to maneuver even the biggest vehicles. Pads are concrete and long. There is nice grass (if you call it grass) space in between every pad. Each pad had a picnic table and grill. Each side of...
Medicine Park is an outstanding facility to stay at. We stayed overnight on our way to Texas. The pads are level with crushed gravel. We had 30 amp service, water, and sewage at our site (#3). The restrooms were with 100 feet of our pad. The restrooms were clean and well maintained. The only reason I gave the place a 4 star rating for facilities is there is no showers available. The park like setting is awesome. For $17...
I am active duty and stayed here for two weeks and our bill averaged out to about $33 a night. I was in the first circle (lot 20). My lot was paved and level with full hook-ups. I had 30/50A service, water, cable TV with over 60 channels, and sewage. Our water hookup started leaking about a week into our stay and they came right out and fixed it. The campgrounds is very nice. They have a lot of...
