There are lots of activities planned by the park and lots to do there. We did not stay long enough to participate. Weekday rates are fine but weekends are very expensive. Lots of gnats, mosquitoes, and ticks. The area it beautiful and quiet. The facilities are clean. We would stay there again during the week if we were passing through but would not go out of our way to go there.

Clean well maintained grounds. Level cement pads with clean restrooms. Marina has lots to rent but it is gas + rental which can get expensive. Spent part of the time in a cabin. They have kitchen supplies and are very nice. Enjoyed watching part of the military water training. This is our second year and we definitely will return next year. Drove in and out but did not stay. It is free but there are no facilities and the weeds are waist high. Lake of the Ozarks it a better choice.

Extended stay prices are great! Various rentals at the marina with reasonable prices and very nice employees. Lots of wildlife to see. We really enjoyed our stay and was very happy with the campsite.

Camp area is beautiful with tall trees and well groomed landscape. Lots of free firewood provided. Bathroom facilities are the best I've seen. The price is great. It was very quiet and enjoyable. There are lots of things to do at the base and the surrounding area. I wish they had laundry facilities at camp but they do have them on base.
