I stayed here for 3 days on my way to Key West. It is a large RV park catering mainly to snowbirds. The staff was very helpful. They have a LONG list of rules but that usually goes along with a military environment. The first thing I noticed was a MASSIVE amount of information they required at check-in, but the staff was nice when I didn't have pet medical records. Be advised that on longer stays they require a more...

SADLY I WILL LIKELY NOT RETURN. Stayed here for 4 nights while traveling to Florida. It is a BEAUTIFUL area but from what I am told I was lucky to not be there in mosquito season. The spanish moss was beautiful. The facilities are very nice and just a beautiful location. The camphost was awesome and more helpful than could be asked for at all times. There is a downside, while speaking to the camp manager I was informed that...

I read a couple other reviews and one individual found lots of faults.... that was not my experience at all. Many times people seem to have a need to search out problems. I arrived on a Saturday and the camp host was AWESOME. He lead me to a waterfront dry campsite as the full hook-ups were full. The campground was just beginning to fill up. After one day I was informed by a camphost that on Monday I was slated...

I stopped at this location in Marietta Ga on both ends of a trip from Ohio to Key West. It was a nice, quiet SMALL RV campground. There are only a couple spaces for larger RVs. I checked in once and got there late at night the other stop. The staff was great at check in and it was easy to pay when arriving late. There is a small BX but no commissary VERY close to the campground. The...

This is the second time I have visited this camp and I am planning on returning soon. I like it when people have negative things to say... mostly for selfish reasons to keep it from becoming over-crowded. LOL Someone saying this isn't big rig friendly couldn't be more inaccurate - most spots are pull thru with AMPLE room. the RV area is gravel so there isn't a lot of grass around. The sewer system is a bit odd because...

I agree with some and disagree with some of the comments posted by the previous reviewer (helencatrina). There were many homesteaders/seasonals. I also don't like the raised sewer lines. The sites are very close together. There was free cable TV available, an AWESOME and friendly camp manager couple. AWESOME FAST AMAZING wifi!! Best RV park wifi I have used. Lots of shade was a good thing due to mid 90's heat. The small private RV park beach at the lake...

I stayed here two nights. I did not have a reservation and got in late on a Sunday night. The gate guard was VERY helpful. There were only two available campsites. The campsites are all dirt and the one I had was no where near level, hence why it was still available. No 30 or 50 amp service. I was able to connect my 30amp with an adapter and the AC ran perfectly. I also ran an extension...

This is a neat little place. Sugar Grove and the Sea Bee park are really the same location on NIOC in Brandywine WV. The sad side is that all the base personnel I spoke with mentioned that the base is scheduled to close... As time goes by more and more of these smaller bases are closing. Location: You won't stumble on this bases/community. It really is tucked in the mountains and entirely self contained community. GPS: N 38*...

Stayed at this great campground on the way to and again on the way back from Mammoth Cave NP. Very nice hiking trails, a nice small lake and lots of well-maintained group areas. Free Wifi was good, great restroom facilities, very clean and well maintained. Large clean laundry facilities and a dayroom with sat tv, common area kitchen and a large book, magazine and vcr tape sharing library. All of the staff were extremely friendly, courteous and helpful....

The sites are full hook-up and mostly level. With the recent change to the main base entry it could be confusing to locate the campground for first time visitors. The campground meets all the needs is well maintained and clean but there are not really any "extras". About 10 miles to the Air Force museum which is a MUST for anyone, set aside a full day, probably two for this awesome FREE chronical of history. Also check...

Stayed at this campsite near the end of the season. If you enjoy rustic than you will enjoy this campground. There is a small bathhouse which was clean and well maintained. Free laundry consisted of two washers and dryers. The campsites are all pull-thru, full hook-ups with 30 & 50A. The fall season was beautiful and miles of well marked hiking trails. Although closed for the season the nearby marina was nice with rental equipment which appeared to...

It was a very nice campground, friendly staff, free firewood and ice. Full hook-ups at each site to include cable TV. There is a nice hiking trail starting near the campsite. The campground seemed to be about 50% long term residents and is very well maintained. There are washers and dryers for 1 dollar per each load. There are two shower facilities and bathrooms, the lower shower is ok while the upper shower house has excellent water...
