First and foremost, follow the directions from Militarycampgrounds.us to gain access to the base and to the park. The park is all pull-thru, concrete pad surrounded by gravel and desert trees (minimal shade), each site had table and grill. Fairly level. Not our first time here, but first in the new part. I had reservations that put me in a "wagon wheel", but they were able to find me a pull thru near the dog park, bath house and shower. this made for short walks with the pup. Stayed here early Sept 2016, space 39. Site are concrete but are not level, with that being said they aren't that bad. Plenty of grass for 4 legged kids, free laundry for those staying awhile. Showers were clean, but I hated the showers heads, didn't spray evenly. Great location for seeing the sites of the area. Wifi is free (daily login) and I didn't have an issue with it.
Only stayed for one night and the "assigned" space had been changed, good thing I checked. The off-side backing is a pain in the butt, just to keep you "tight" to the concrete and not over-hanging the grass on the hook up and slide side... Oh well, didn't see that part in the volume of information taped to the window until I had already set up the trailer and wasn't about to tear it down just to move it for...
Only stayed for one night, but discovered that there are long term residents that have active duty spouses and contractors in the same status. Sort of limits the spaces. I agree with other reviews that the service should ensure that they have sufficient real housing space before they station a new family to the base.
