The park is located in an industrial area, which makes it easy to get to (one-half mile from I5.) Noise from the trains and trucks is dampened by a cement wall. The smell from the dog food plant is intermittent and not at all offensive. We used this as a base for exploring around Tracy/Stockton/Lodi. Spaces are level gravel, both back-in and pull-throughs. Water bib for Space 21 was broken, the one for Space 20...

Spaces are level, some have grassy areas. The laundry is clean. If no full hook-up spaces are available, be sure to sign up on the waiting list at the registration office. The base is the SE city limits to Albuquerque, so it's easy to get to sights and entertainment in the area. Be sure to visit the National Museum of Nuclear Science and History. It has been moved outside the base, so it's easy to...

Check-in staff very accommodating. They give you lots of information to help make your stay in Las Vegas enjoyable and entertaining. The RV park is pleasant, well-maintained. It's a ways from the Strip, but it's doable. We would return.

We've stayed here before, on our way to Arizona/New Mexico, etc. Pleasant surroundings, quiet. Some interesting things to explore in the area (Borax Mine, 20 Mule Team Museum, etc.) This time, we took a day to drive to NAWS China Lake in Ridgecrest. When I logged on to enter this, I saw the article that China Lake has a FamCamp that opened shortly after we had been there. China Lake has a very nice Naval Museum...

GOOD: Had nice ocean views from some of the RV sites (if you have a rear window, or long enough cords/hoses to pull in forward.) The cottages looked nice. There are hotel rooms available, but we didn't check them out. There is beach access from the north end of the campground (it's a bit of a hill, as the campground sits on a bluff). Movie theater showed 4 movies/day. The area is flat, so bicycling around...

The camp has nice, clean facilities. Laundry room with 3 washers/dryers; restroom with 2 showers. Multi-purpose room has books, games, area information. Visited the Air Force Flight Test Center Museum, which is well worth the visit. The Dryden Flight Research Facility only gives tours on certain days and advance reservations are required. Commissary and Exchange had good selection. Previous reviews had complained about weeds in the FamCamp, but we saw no evidence of this....

Spent three nights here. Camp host, Gil Reid, is friendly, knowledgeable, diligent. We didn't use any of the laundry or other facilities, so cannot review them. Base has a fitness center, driving range, movie theater, an RV-er lounge with wi-fi. There is a free RV and car wash. Civilians can use the chow hall. Commissary is small, but has a lot of products.

Sites are level, graveled with cement pads on the side. Nicely maintained. Multi-purpose room has computers, wi-fi, television, pool tables, very large lounge areas. Laundry room/showers clean. Base has a fitness center, bowling alley, swimming pool, various cafes. The only empty sites when we were there were the designated "weekly" sites. The YPG Heritage Center was closed for the holiday. YPG is 20 miles from Yuma off Highway 95. The "commute" is...

Stayed at the Annex, outside the Base. All 50 amp service. Paved sites, grassy areas in between the spaces. Well-maintained. Camp host on site. Laundry/showers kept clean. Camp host said she didn't care if we washed down the motor home. The on-base FamCamp is older, 30 amp service, smaller spaces.

Follow the directions on this site (although the car lots mentioned are gone.) Our GPS has us traipsing all over the countryside! This is a training camp, so heard lots of artillery and small arms fire. Nothing close by, but audible. The campground has a fishing pond, laundry facilities, group meeting area. Sites are gravel, each has a picnic table and fire pit. Everything is well maintained. Camp host was friendly and helpful....

We planned to stay here, but arrived after the closing of the Commercial Gate. We did check out the FamCamp later. The spaces are paved, with grassy areas in between. Everything was clean and well-maintained. The FamCamp is located near the Patriot Gate, which the camp host recommends that RV's use (it's manned 24/7 and is very close to the FamCamp.) The base has a nice museum and offers base tours that includes a missile...
