While the facility itself ranks with the best, we were quiet disappointed with personnel at the registration point, in that, behavior was completely unacceptable. And let’s be clear, some employees did demonstrate good manners and were courteous. This was our second stay at Shields and likewise, very much satisfied overall. At check-in, personnel could not have been more friendlier, courteous and helpful, not to mention, well knowledgeable. Privacy and quietness (at night), very comfortable.

Our very first ever camping (RV) trip. Access to the base and actual RV site very comfortable. Personnel behavior at check-in, very friendly and much knowledgeable. Cable TV still not operational. Access to facilities, like BX, laundry, fishing area, etc., very convenient. Look forward to return.
