Great location, great beach. The reservation policy for Camp Pendleton beaches is ridiculous. Other than that, staying here is better than staying at Del Mar.

This place could be a Premier RV site but it needs a little work. If they would pave all of the RV sites and make them all the same size, make more spots to fish and open up the boat/bait center earlier during the fishing season would make this site worth the money. I stay here often because I like to take the boys fishing early in the morning and we can wake up and walk right down...

Awesome place, especially the sites right on the beach. Ridiculous price with reservation restrictions and automatic charging of credit card 2 weeks prior. All but one night can be refunded. We normally just go down there for the day and return home.

No credit card required to reserve. No cancellation fee. No payment until you get there. No hassle. $30 a night. All paved pads that are plenty wide with abundant space between each site (could have fit 3 more RV's between us). Yards from the beach which is free of the rip raft of most beaches. Friendly staff. The only drawback was the sand fleas. Definitely will stay here again. ...
