Fourth Cliff is certainly one of the nicer park locations in the military system. It sits on the south bank of the North River where it meets the Atlantic Ocean. If you love water this is the place. Round Pond is arguably one of the nicest parks in the military system. I am certain that it’s spotless upkeep is in no small part, attributable to the fact that it is part of the U.S. Military Academy, or more commonly West Point. Dover’s RV park has been identified by others as a good stopover place, but not a destination. I agree with that assessment. It’s a nice park, but there isn’t much going on in the Dover area that is going to capture your attention for more than a day or two. We stayed 2 weeks in the old campground. We prefer it to the new because of the trees and view of the river. Notably it does not have cable tv and the wifi was not working while we were there.
