Retired mil cannot use dining hall at this time. Dump site is near sewage treatment facility

Called several times for reservation. No answer and no call back. Other guests same problem. Arrived after after hours, sign indicated "no vacancy ". No less than 10 places open w only 2 packets in vestibule for late arrivals. Spoke to sqn commander--hopiing for improvement.

Host was reluctant for us to dry camp with an RV as there were hook-ups available. We did prevail. Dry camp charge was $10 vice $5.

We have a big rig. We were turned around at Forrestal gate because of size. Could have made it altho a bit tight. So went to Westminster gate--not open weekends. Did see 5th wheel go thru Forrestal, so maybe depends who's working security?! Nice campground and great location.

Great location and few campers during our stay. Bathrooms appeared less than a year old--nice. While there, gravel was being place in all sites--they appeared to be previously muddy when wet.
