This is our go to place. Never been disappointed. They are slowly making improvements but it is a really great place to be. Our grandkids love the rec center , their programs are great and something for everyone. They could use some improvements in the bath and shower houses. This is a great place to stay. Improvements are underway, such as new water systems and new housing after this season. This is a family oriented area. Our grand kids didn't want to leave. Recreation hall caters to all with lots of planned activities. Within walking distance to the beach. Positives outweigh the negatives. We've made this our go-to place to camp. Staff are exceptional.
This place is in a great location and we love to go here,but over this Easter week it was a complete disaster. We stayed in the overflow section and the bathrooms that we normally use at the tent area were closed. The one bathroom that was open met with disaster when it overflowed. Fortunately we knew about the rec center bath and showers but most people didn't.I sure hope they get things in order because its such a shame a...
One of the greatest locations. Staff are exceptional. We stayed in overflow over the 4th but still no complaints. Like other places it seems cuts in MWR funds affects the quality.
As of April 1 spaces are $22. They seem to be clearing the spaces, however it is suited for small rv's, pop-up's and tents. Decent wash house no sewage hookups but a dump station open 0800-1700. Location is outstanding. If you want to "CAMP" you can't beat it. Nice cabins also. We were there over Easter weekend and only about half the spaces were taken.
Cutbacks in MWR funds can be felt but this is still a great place. Rained alot but all the negatives are overshadowed by the positives.
May be big rig friendly but certainly not little rig friendly. We were put a quarter of a mile from a bath house and the nearest water was at the bath house. Electric gave us trouble. Old wiring and bad connections caused A/C to trip breakers frequently. Will pass it up next time. I guess all the places have been cutback on funds and its showing.
