This is a great little park. The only downside there are not many sites so getting in can be a bit of a challenge. We were welcome to eat in the mess and the evening we ate there was very good. If you like the beach, this is the place for you. If mosquitoes like the taste of your blood STAY AWAY. We spent two nights here and the first was uneventful because the wind was pretty stout which I assume kept the mosquitoes at bay. The whole experience was tainted the next day. We stopped here one Thursday night in transit north on I-5. The directions to the park were spot on and the personnel at the gate were very helpful.
