This place is fantastic! The registration process was very easy and the folks checking you in are friendly and helpful. This base (and the campground) is very neat and clean. The campground has beautiful spots that aren't jammed in too close to each other. We particularly enjoyed all of the large open green grass that they have for our dogs to stretch their legs. This campground is in severe need of some TLC. It looks like it's probably about 85% long-term residents there and the place is looking pretty rough. Our site was not cleaned or prepped for us in any way by the camp host. There was tree branches, leaves, debris, etc. in the site when we arrived. The sites are very short and extremely tight to get backed in to due to a narrow roadway that is full...
