I went out to evaluation the camp before my actual stay. It seemed nice, but when I was leaving at 4:45pm they were locking the gate. Thankfully the guy unlocked it for me, but he said they normally lock it at 4pm. I checked the flyer and yea, they lock it at 5pm in the winter. It blows my mind how they would put a padlock on a gate locking everyone inside at 5pm!!!! Hello....medical...
Campground was pretty good, I was hesitant at first as the only available spots were not allowed to have reservations, but since I was in Orlando it was a short drive. There were about 20 reservable spots open, but the lady in the office was very sure there was nothing available....Power outage twice so far, bathroom closed a day for a drain problem and this weekend no hot water in the shower. This campground has 2 physical locations, the main one with 10 sites and one on officers row with an additional 10 sites that was added around 2018ish. I stayed in the officers row location as it was out of the main park. All sites are 50A with full hookups. Prices went up a bit, still $40/night but now $250/week and $700/month. The officers row location has no bathroom, but the main campground is about 1.7 miles...
