We are full time RVers and go from famcamp to famcamp and have probably stayed in over 50 so far. This famcamp is ok, but the 2 girls running it are beyond disrespectful. We’ve been here twice because our son is stationed here and they should NOT be working with the public. Both times we’ve been here the main girl has been beyond unhelpful, extremely rude and disrespectful. We will find a local campground...
We full time RV from famcamp to famcamp. We very much enjoyed this base! Directions are perfect and getting to the parking lot/ rv park is very easy. We stayed at the full hookup area. The bathroom is close and clean. This location is perfect for local sightseeing! Definitely see the Goonies house, Astoria and cannon beach.
We had a great experience here! Getting through the gate was challenging, but the soldier at the gate moved a pylon for us. It’s a very small base and you are camping on a parking lot in front of the gym with full hook ups. It’s extremely casual and we just left the payment in a box. But the location if you want to see Oregon is fantastic!!!! I’d call this...
We are full time RVers going from famcamp to famcamp. This was a nice famcamp, but definitely make sure you get specifics about directions and gate info before trying to show up. It’s also next to an airport, but if you stay on famcamps you need to be used to military sounds. It’s about a 10 minute drive to the base, which has a PX and gym but the commissary is on Fort Ord. The...
We are full time RVers and travel from famcamp to famcamp. Great camp, clean facilities, wonderful camp hosts, and tons to do off base!!!! Yes there’s noise, but there’s noise at most famcamps (Air Force there are planes flying around and on army bases there’s gun shooting and mortars lol) Funny story, hubby was walking to the bathroom and walked in some grass to get there and the Karen went and told on him bc he walked in...
We are full time RVers and travel from famcamp to camp. We were there for my son graduating from bootcamp and had never been to this post before. The directions were very confusing and thank goodness we went to this campsite rather than Petra. The site was just ok, gravel with full hook ups. We were close to the bathroom, but no showers! We had to go use the gyms showers. We...
We are full time RVers and travel from famcamp to famcamp. If only every base famcamp was this well set up and organized! They even give you a map when you show up! Nellis is a little different because you go onto one side of the base for the famcamp and than have to leave that side, cross the road and go into another base for the gym, commissary and BX. But the...
We are full time RVers and travel from famcamp to famcamp. This is that gem you hear other RVers talk about. It’s Located just outside Flagstaff, and only had 4 RVs there. It’s easy to find and the sites are pull through on gravel. The base doesn’t have anything to offer, but flagstaff is gorgeous and there’s plenty to go see and do around the area! We even made it down to Sedona, which...
We are full time RVers and travel from famcamp to famcamp. Be very aware about getting onto this base, you will need your ninja skills if you don’t come at the perfect time to get in the commercial gate (we tried twice and both times it was closed). But once you get on, the camp is right to the right with concrete pads, good amenities, friendly people. The gym is great with an indoor pool! ...
We are full time RVers and travel from famcamp to famcamp. First of all, make sure you use the right gate, it’s listed above in the directions. The RV gate is closed. The only issue with this famcamp is that it’s in the back of the base all the way around the airfield. We had a mix up with the host as far as dates go, but they let us boondock one night and we really...
We are full time RVers and travel from famcamp to famcamp and have been to a lot of them. We stayed at the Officers loop area and loved it! They have concrete pads and full hook ups. The directions were just ok (wasn’t told that Officers Loop was in a different location). But all it took was asking another camper to get the right directions. We really enjoyed the base, the weather...
We are full time RVers and visit famcamps all over the US. We usually really love the opportunity to be able to stay on them. But this might be the worst one unfortunately. The approach is dangerous; there’s no other way to say it. Be very very careful going up the approach!!!! The directions are ok. We were able to make a reservation and the girls inside the office...
We are full time RVers and go from famcamp to famcamp. And we LOVE the ElPaso famcamp and all Fort Bliss has to offer. We’ve been to 25% of the famcamps and Fort Bliss is one of our favorites. Directions are perfect. The RV sites are close together but you are on concrete and everything is very well manicured. The bathrooms and laundry facilities are clean! We didn’t go into El...
We RV full time and travel from famcamp to famcamp. We really enjoy this base! You are right in the ocean! We’ve stayed here 3 different times and always had good experiences! There’s plenty to do on base, but highly recommend adventuring off base. Entering Pendleton is easy and directions are perfect! Checking in is easy and efficient! I guess our only con are the bathrooms, they are only...
We RV full time and go from famcamp to famcamp. Most have been fantastic experiences! We called and made reservations and had a good experience with the office! Directions were superb!!! All the concrete sites were taken so we were in an area that is slightly unlevel, but with full hookups. Bathrooms are very nice and clean. A 5 minute walk and you can climb blackie hill that shows...
