We planned on 7 nights so that we could visit Boston and surrounding Revolutionary War sites. We requested a Big Rig Friendly site but were assigned site 66. The sites are so tight that we cannot put out our awnings without hitting the 5th wheel next to us and barely have enough room for our truck to be parked diagonally in front of our 46' 5th wheel. There is no logic to the size of the sites...
This is a very small campground with grass and gravel sites. We specifically requested a big rig friendly site and were assigned to Site 8. Even thought it was deemed a pull through site; we had to back in to get positioned so that the sewer was not at our front door and also due to a very tight turn with an uphill grade near the boat ramp that would have drug the bottom of our 5th wheel....
This was our second stay at Pelican Point, and we will absolutely be back again!! We were site 15 which was big rig friendly, super level and very easy access. The grounds were freshly mowed and the sites were immaculate! Full hook ups were perfect - no issues at all. The staff (Sue, Tina and Veronica) are awesome and do everything to make you feel welcome and super comfortable. Great place on the other...
