Most of the sites are gravel pads, with full hookup. We got lucky in that a single back-in handicap site was available. The onsite camp host was the point of contact for check-in and very accommodating in moving our reservation from a grass/gravel pad to a concrete handicap site. The handicap sites are concrete pads, with two back-in and four pull-through. All hookups at that site were close to the site.
Two different gates to enter Mid-South. The Main Gate is open 24/7, at 5600 Navy Rd, Millington, TN 38054. The other gate is the Singleton Ave Gate, the back gate, at 7234 Singleton Ave, Millington, TN 38054. It is open Monday-Friday from 0600-1800, closed on weekends and holidays. When available, the Singleton Ave Gate is easiest and closes to the RV park. Once again, the aging electrical circuit breaker tripped with both the microwave and air conditioner running....
Memorial Day weekend almost empty. All vehicle occupants checked for authorized ID. Loop F, with FHU, less than half full, and only two tents in the tent area. Might be impacted by light rain throughout the weekend, but nice temperature and breeze otherwise. Did note that the tent camping sites have fire rings, but the RV sites do not. RV sites allowed to have fire 'stoves' as long as they sit on legs above the ground. ...

Amazing time with a family reunion at the MWR cottages. Twice a year, all three cottages can be rented for the weekend at roughly $1500. Cancellations must be made 10 days prior to your scheduled arrival date. Cancellations within 10 days of the scheduled stay will be charged 1 nights stay per house reserved. Check in time was 2:00pm to 9:45pm. Cottage keys were located at the front gate; upon departure, return the keys back to...
Facility within the esteemed Coast Guard Academy campus. Named after the legendary Coast Guard hero Signalman First Class Douglas A. Munro. He is the only Coast Guard Medal of Honor recipient, earning the decoration in September 1942 at Guadalcanal in the Solomon Islands. He was awarded it posthumously for heroism while leading a group of Higgins boats to evacuate a Marine battalion trapped by a larger Japanese force at Point Cruz. The evacuation was successful, with Munro using his own...

Air Station Atlantic City operates a recreational facility in support of morale and for the benefit of eligible personnel. The facility, a former Coast Guard Life Saving Station built in 1886, is located in Townsends Inlet in the southern portion of Sea Isle City, about 15 miles from Cape May or 30 miles south of Atlantic City. It consists of four rooms for rent with a common kitchen and living space and recreational equipment, including basketball and volleyball courts, grills,...
Two separate campgrounds! Destiny is the newer, and much better setup. The sites there are level, albeit close together with both back-in and pull-through options. The eight cabins are divided into Deluxe and Standard, though unable to identify what distinguished them. The shower/bathroom is at the entrance to Destiny. Eagle Nest is the older, mature campground with sites that require extensive leveling and mostly back-in. We made the "mistake" of going to Destiny with...
Rustic, but fully shaded RV spots, ensuring comfort and privacy during your stay. FHU, with concrete pad, picnic table and fire ring. Locked electric stanchion with 30/50amp connections, below ground containment with access to septic and water. Suggest using an RV water pressure regulator as supply appears to be very robust. Three loops for the RVs: sites 2-16 back-in, while 18-34 are awesome pull-throughs. Four small cabins at sites 1, 2, 16, 22. Pavilion with grill in front...
Nice, quiet campground with FHU at all 12 concrete pull-through pads. All hookups are logical and well placed. Concrete pad extension looks like it will host a picnic table, but none on site when we visited. Electric is both 30 and 50 amp. No fire ring, no facilities such as bathroom/shower/laundry. Water has heating unit to keep it open during the winter, powered off the 120vAC on the site electric pedestal. Just bare bones RV parking...
Basically, parking lot with FHU for 40 sites and 11 W/E sites. All with level concrete pads but no grill or fire ring. Convenient hookups, with picnic table also on the concrete pad. Bathrooms w/showers centrally located. Laundry with $3 wash/$2 dry but only one washer and one dryer working when we visited. Roughly 2000 feet from the very active runway, with aircraft noise throughout the stay. WiFi (Mbps): StarLink 209down/27up T-Mobile 365down/2.8up Boost 11down/4.5up...
Reserve the right size as this small campground has spots that are even below 30ft if parking a vehicle with a towed trailer. Maybe a short Class C might fit some of the sites, such as site 23. While it is suggested that that site is 38 foot, it might be difficult to park a 25+ trailer and vehicle in that space and clear the route through the campground. Bath house with laundry is closer to sites 1...
Small campground, with 8 FHU sites. Was able to get a site, over Labor Day weekend, with a reservation mid-July as retired military member! Close to housing area, with the Medicine Creek running next to the campground. Commissary and exchange, close, but not within walking distance. Aside from hookups, and a covered, common picnic area, there are no other amenities at the RV campground. That rules out bathrooms, showers, laundry, etc. Quiet stay, with what appear to...
This first-come/first-served campground have 31 full hookups (sewer/water/electric), and the remaining 54 sites are just electric/water. The FHU sites appear to be longer term occupants, with servicemember assigned to Kirkland with family awaiting household goods and/or base housing assignment. FHU connections are almost randomly setup, with spreads of up to 25 feet between septic, electric or water connections. Laundry facilities are the FHU area, but bathrooms/showers are in both the FHU and limited hookup areas. After...
Nice staff called us before closing to give site number. All pull through on 10ft wide concrete pad with FHU's well placed. No trees makes the 100+ temperatures somewhat unbearable when going outside the RV in the summer. Each site has a grill and picnic table on an adjacent concrete pad. Overflow sites, without services, is available if the concrete pads are all full (usually during prime Jan-Apr snow bird times). WiFi: Starlink: Mbps 49down/26up T-Mobile: Mbps 600down/112up...
