We live in Central Florida so this campground is the perfect distance to stop on day one of our cross-country trips. The area is beautiful with tall trees and a wonderful lake. The free laundry had new high grade washers and dryers. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained. The MWR staff was very friendly and helpful. What a great campground right on Clarks Hill Lake. Our site in area #2 was ample for our 38 foot Class A. We have family near Fort Gordon so we stayed through Thanksgiving. All the positive comments in the other reviews are all true. The comments regarding poor signage for checking location is also true.
