Check in is no longer at the NSA Rec building. Instead the Academy side people telephone you with a site number the morning of your arrival date. They later visit you at the cg with paperwork. It turns out they have size specific sites identified but not advertised nor obvious to the eye. Power sites open all year, "primitive" area closes for the winter. Nicest Guard campground I have seen. Clean and well kept by volunteers, FHU sites plus single latrine, power poles and most water spigots key locked. No other site amenities, assume laundry, WI-FI, etc could be found on post but Housing Management desk knows and volunteers no information except sketch map for driving directions. Was turned away at the MWR desk who explained RV park was out of service. Electrical problems "or something" with no money for repair. No estimate when might be reopening.
