Does anyone know of any rv parks close to chicago? I found a KOA but its about 30 miles away from where we are going, no biggie but just need to know if there are any closer. Ft Sheridan, Great Lakes do they have facilities?

Great Lakes has a very nice campground. Small, but right on Lake Michigan. We stayed there for a few about 5 yrs ago and took the train from right outside the base to downtown.

On this website - CLICK on the "Recreation Facilities Info" menu option. You'll then get a USA Map and state listing of US Military Campgrounds.
