Just tried to make a reservation at NAS Mayport and were told the SE Navy bases were going to be turning all RVs around and not letting them in reservations or not until May 11. He indicated they had just been notified a half hour to me calling.

Just received a call from Foster Creek RV Park CHS NWS cancelling my reservation for 4/30 to 5/2 due to "stop movement order".

Just had one month reservation cancelled at Pelican Roost, NS Jacksonville. Was told this is Navy wide.

Of course they all plan to re-open. It's just not known when that will be. Guess it depends on how the pandemic plays out.

Hanscom AFB FamCamp in MA will not take anyone new until May 1 due to COVID 19 at this time. Current campers can stay. This is per outdoor rec when I called today.

Just got a E-mail from Jacks NAS cancelled my reservation for the month of April. We are at Pelican Roost at Mayport until the end of the month. Hoping that we can stay here for the month of April.

Eglin AFB FAMCAMPs (both Postl Point and Camp Robbins) are closed to new folks as of now. Existing campers are being allowed to stay.... for now. The freeze on new folks is until 11 May.

Currently camping at FAMCAMP Eglin AFB, was notified that they will not be accepting any new campers after today. Those of us that are here can extend until May 11, 2020 if we need to.

We have 5 more campground stays as we work our way back home to Michigan (Grassy Pond, GA; Points West, GA; Smith Lake Army RV Park in Fayettville, NC; Annapolis Famcamp, MD and Youngstown ANGB Famcamp, Youngstown OH.

Don't know whether to shelter in place here at Eglin or make the move on Saturday.

Andrews FAMCAMP is closed to new campers.

You gotta make your own decision, but if it were me, I’d stay if you can. You don’t know what further restrictions might be coming or what other places are dealing with. (They might be in worse shape than us as far as basic needs). We got a huge hospital on base and a VA clinic right out the gate. If you’re at Postl Point campground, you can’t beat the view! Better the devil you know....than the one you don’t.

We stayed at the Travis FamCamp 3/16 & 3/17. We were told that after we got checked in they were closing the office. Part of the check in package was a note from the ODR Director.

In a nut shell it said;

Per base leadership guidance, many activities including Travis Outdoor Recreation (which encompasses FAM camp) will be closing effective March 16-27 with the goal to re-open on March 30.

With that said, all customers who are currently in the FAM Camp are good to stay. Please just note the ODR staff will be at a minimal to non-existent over this time period.

Doesn't this action seem counter-productive during a Shelter-in-Place order? Most of the people affected by this are not holiday travelers, they are full-time RVers, this is their home. Being told to pack their home and move during a time that everyone is told to remain at home just doesn't pass the common sense test.

US military bases forcing our nations veterans out during this time is a disgrace. I fully understand closing the Fam Camps for future reservations and stopping all travel, but not kicking out the veterans currently residing at the park. Allow vets to stay where they are and "Shelter-in-Place" until this situation has resolved itself.

Where exactly do they expect everyone to go? State and national parks are closing, military bases are closing, private parks if not full already will be filling quickly, leaving no where for the full-time RVers to park and hook-up.

Ok, that is my rant. Yes, I have also sent a letter to the white house and my congressmen and women addressing this concern as well.

Kirtland AFB FamCamp is closed to new campers- they don't take reservations so none too cancel.

Davis-Monthan AFB delivered a letter stating they wanted everyone to depart within 24 - 78 hours. They will refund any remaining days already paid.

Midway RV Park Millington, TN FAM CAMP is Closed until Further Notice
FAM CAMP Barksdale, LA Closed until further notice

Desert Breeze Travel Camp at Yuma Proving Grounds Arizona is no longer taking RV’s

Add USCG Station Marathon RV sites to list. Called this AM to cancel end of March resers and arrange refund.

I'm at Shields RV Park on NCBC Gulfport. They are allowing existing reservations to arrive until 3/23. Current campers will be allowed to extend. No new reservations until sometime in May. The lady at the office did stress to call the office (228.871.5435) for current info. Their website has NOT been updated to reflect this change.

I also have reservations for Ft. Sam Houston later this month and called their office to verify. As of this morning, I'll be allowed on post.

As far as I know Ft Sam is still open. Lackland has been reported as closed. Not sure on Canyon Lake.

It looks like Great Pond in Maine is open, but not taking any new reservations at this time.
