I'm considering doing a Camp Host volunteer job. I'd like to know where the positions are listed. Is it on USA JOBS or Volunteer.gov? I'd like to be in the South East: NC, SC, GA, or FL. This would be our first Camp Host job.

We've been camp hosting for over 16 years, but we only take paid positions. I'm not much help on volunteer positions. By labor laws, only the federal and state governments are allowed to take volunteers.

For hosting at a military campground, there is no "central" location to find the jobs. Mainly, you need to ask the campground(s) you're interested in directly. Usually, these positions are filled by word of mouth by campers already there. Some military campgrounds do let me know of available positions, which I post on this discussion forum and in my newsletter.

For public positions, you might also check into getting a subscription to Workamper News.
