Texans and the Falcons. It's a no brainer.

Falcon's gonna have to beat San Francisco first. 49'ers are looking very tough this year.

Patriots will stay in the hunt, but need better defense.

So, some pretty interesting games so far SF still looks very, very tough. Coach sure found a nugget QB, although his running game adds a lot, I'm still of the mind that QB's that run often as a part of the game plan, get hurt.

Manning performed right up there with his normal screw-up at the end of a win/lose situation in a play-off game. SOME people blame the coach for taking a knee - BS, Manning tosses the interception, as usual, and determined the need for extra time. Ravens have a good team, hope NE wins today and plays them next week.

Oppps gotta get past Houston today, although I believe Houston will be looking at a loss today but at an even better season next year.

I'm hoping SF and NE in SB, of course.

Notice one team that should be sitting and isn't. Seattle not sue how it got here, but it probably will never (never says never monkey!!) get there with Pete Carroll who will never be anything but a college level coach - teams keep making the mistake and hire him though ...

What a wild playoff weekend this turned into. Would like to see the Ravens take it all but doubt they will. As for Mannings performance and screw ups we are with you Monkey, his rep has been knocked down a peg or two after what HE did, no one else and his comment about inexperienced players is his usual way of not accepting blame for mistakes he made or contributed to. As for Houston they were so out of there league it was not worth watching till the end.

Yes, great games, haven't watched a playoff weekend like it for a very long time.

I've always been surprised Payton Manning gets so much hype (Best ever QB? etc - what BS) - Have always though he was a bit above mediocre, and got lots of good press. Have always though Eli is better, and that's been proved a couple times when it counted.

Payton wins lots of games, but falls apart when his team hits the playoffs. Last time I looked, he has a LOSING record in playoff games (9-11) ... nothing to puff a chest about.

But, no matter where you drop the ball, hard to find a better QB than Brady. He just doesn't give up, and performs under pressure - Can't recall a QB that's been that consistently successful since Terry Bradshaw ...

SF was definitely impressive and Kaepernick was exception - especially for a rookie - although he better quit running and learn how to sit and rotate in that pocket or he'll be spending more time in the clinic than on the field - running QB's don't last long.

As predicted, probably SF and NE, a coast 2 coast SB. Should be a good one.

Well, my Texans got bucked off their horse. Other than Brady and Wes Welker, I don't think NE has a better overall team, but they certainly have a better coaching staff. That's going to be hard to beat by anyone. So since half my prediction is gone, I'll keep my fingers crossed for the Falcons.

Well, close Rick, but no cigars - quite a game though, as have all playoff games so far this season.

NE ready to begin - and my hope are with my original hometown boys. Although, I lived in SF awhile, so can watch a game with two hometowns playing if NE wins.

Ravens may pull it off, but not sure anyone can stop NE offense. And the defense matured too as the season moved along.

Wow what a surprise the Ravens won and not surprised about Belichick being a poor loser by not talking to CBS. Still bummed out by the Flacons and they just plain blew it, never should have lost! I have gained a great deal of respect for Flacco and hope they win the Super Bowl and it would be a great way for Ray Lewis to retire.

I appears that each of "our" favorite teams are now going to be sitting in Disneyland watching the SB. This SB is going to a fun one to watch. Old Guard vs New Guard. Brother against brother. Smash mouth vs pass offense. I got the beer and bet a buck on SF. Who is bring the chips and dip????

Yes he is a great coach and that is what counts at the end of the day, oops did not help this time though, sorry Monkey44 I know you love the Pats and we did expect them to win but darn it all GO RAVENS. We are Green Bay fans even though the Bucs are in our back yard, just cannot wrap ourselves around them since Dungy got the boot. Looking for a fun filled Pro Bowl this weekend too, any guess what team will win that one? Skyking8 chips and dip and beer are going to go just fine with a pot of chili I am making.

Know that in Texas it is a hanging offense to make chili with beans instead of meat. But, when it is free then the offense is immediately pardoned. ;) Who is doing the hot wings?

Not sure were Istew4U is and why they used our first names instead of User Name as we all do out of respect for each other but skyking8 how about if my chili has beans and meat and has chili peppers in it? Not in Texas this year but we sure do love the food in Texas esp. Chicken Tortilla Soup in restaurants in the Mercado in San Antonio. Will be in Ft. Sam Houston next winter and will eat enough to sink a battleship. Oh by the way the "hot wings" will be made by the retired fly boys, who knows wings better than them.

Hey Rick, what do you think about first names? Right or wrong. And you too, John, you got a dog in this camp? And Larry, what do you think, you own this joint. Just Bill and Genie here, asking quietly, so we don't raise a fuss. :) :)

Never really thought much about it Bill. My name is listed on my profile and I don't mind anybody using it. I can see where lamsan is coming from though...with all the privacy concerns nowadays it seems reasonable NOT to want your name used on a public forum.

If he brings some of his chili with him, I'll call him whatever he wants!

Just my humble opinion.

John

Personally, I don't see a problem using real names. It's not like you know my social security number or my credit card numbers.

There are other RV sites where the the webmaster does not use their name like Larry does. I do some stuff with other public websites and Facebook sites. I use terms like webmaster, administrator, etc to guard my name, privacy, and connection with those sites. Little, if any, “personal” info is posted. Some other RV sites provide for listing a signature at the bottom of posts and the person's name is obvious. That's not something I do either.

I could have used my name when I joined here, but chose to do a unique user name. Perhaps that's from my other work and a habit of being aware of internet privacy issues. Now that I think of it, I don't have my name posted on my profile here.

I use the User name just out of courtesy to that person since I hadn't asked to do differently.

Monkey> I don't have a dog to put in the hunt. Could I use one of my tropical fish? :)

Sorry LamSan. Did not mean to offend you, especially sine I've known you personally for a few seasons at Kings Bay. I only used your name because of that. I was seriously suggesting bring your dish to the Super Bowl Party. (I didn't realize you would have left before the party). I figured you knew who I was too since my name is right on my profile. yes, Rick - you can bring your fish to the dog-fight, but only if you allow us to pet it :)

But, not sure why anyone gets upset about the name issue, if's it on the site somewhere, and someone can see it, then anyone can find it here. Like said above, it's not like we're getting in the bank account here, we're just camping.

And Larry, if you don't mind, now that you mentioned it, please put your SSN here, your ID # and your access number, along with your bank info so we can pull out enough for our extra camping fees and pay for out sites. And a little lunch - :) :)
