Nice Park, well kept and support personnel are super friendly. Had a fun time with pass and ID, great folks, easy to work with, very cordial, as with alot of military camp grounds lately, this campground has lots of extended stay people, but had room for a few travelers. Seems to be the norm now. Great place to stay and unwind.

With Sharpe Depot pending closure later this year ,the future of the RV park is unknown, Sharpe is one of those rare experiences to take in ,the park itself is small, noisy,( trains) and smells from the local Dog Food processing facility, What sets Sharpe aside from other military RV parks was the Hosts Bob and Wanda Thompson fo 17 years. Bob passed last October and is already missed by myself. If you visited Sharpe once ,your were an instant fan...

Desert Rat has added 11 more full hook up spaces, great job, we often travel between Yuma and Northern California, and Barstow was a so-so place to stop, we never knew if Desert Rat had any spaces open, because of the long termers and contractors, but with the addition of 11 more spaces should make a big difference, the rate $ 23.00 is pricey compared to other parks with more ammenities, the transformation is a welcome step.

Way to go.... Beale AFB has always been my favorite Famcamp .My review in the past have been a bit on the negative side only because I knew the potential existed for Beale to be the best. Now my hopes are realized, new management with Rex and host Bonnie, come a great new positive attitude as seen by the recent upgrades and improvements. What a change, what a pleasure to see what can happen with a new commitment. Better than...

Hands down the best military campground around. Its all because of the commitment to excellence by the Travel Camp manager. Dianna understands the special circumstances and needs of the RV'ing crowd. She is a perfect example of anyone who runs and RV park, should have real RV experience. She is a no nonsense park manager who enforces the rules and runs the place like a well oiled machine. The park is constantly upgrading the grounds, adding spaces and planning trips...

Beale Famcamp has the potential to be one of the best famcamps in the Air Force. The location is off the beaten path and full of military history, quiet, peaceful, plenty of room and layed back. As a frequent visitor I have seen the worst and best of Beale. The problem I see (my opinion) is the real lack of serious commitment by the Services Managers to put some effort in running a good famcamp. The price is equal to...

Wow can't believe no one else has written a review since last June and again it was me. Well a change in the park finds all 5 spaces now have sewer hookups and concrete patio's behind parking spots. To avoid water spots be careful not to back the tail of your rig over the curb, the sprinkler system is set to come on at night and is real hard water. The Campground is a simple little park with great showers...

It must be a good park and a great location from the previous reviews. However we have tried twice in the last month to get in. The 30 day stay policy has an obvious flaw or not enforced. A few RV's have been there a long time. The elderly Lady in the Van from New York has been there for over 4 months. Another example of the unpublished Good Old boy Policy that is alive and well throughout the system....

Arrived on a Saturday, unable get into the RV park so stayed a week in overflow which is first come first serve and wasn't bad at all, next to a Skeet range and paintball course, Kind of rustic with water and 30 amp electric, and the price was right. A great place to become a tourist. Local attractions abound in this part of AZ. The fort has a rich and varied history. Museums on the Fort are outstanding and exploring...

A real Gem in the desert and growing, as a frequent visitor there ,its amazing the support and positive approach the camp recieves from MWR. The camp is ran by one of the best, Diana takes care of all who travel there and continues to work hard to make it better. The only facility on the base that needs some improvement is the Cactus Cafe, it could use some serious attention when it comes to service. The overall experience continues...

What a wonderful, quaint no frills Famcamp. The camp host was very courteous and exceptionally helpful with our first visit there. We drycamped and enjoyed our night there very much. This Famcamp has alot of untapped potential for Luke AFB recreational fund. 8 campsites are closed off due to electrical problems. Cash outlay to repair those closed sites would be beneficial and pay off big dividends in the future. If you take a look at Davis-Monthan Famcamp and Yuma Proving...

What a nice camp. We pulled in there with no reservations, just as someone left unhappy with no fire rings. Oh well. Stayed there for 4 days. The area is rich in military history exploring old forts and the Astoria area was wonderful. Check out the Base Headquarters for historical facts of Camp Rilea. The Commanding Officer is a great wealth of information and is more than willing to share all his knowledge. Great experience. Will be back.

We pulled into the park during the weekend for Area boat races and the park was loaded only spaces were in dry camp which was great for us. The hosts were very friendly and helpfull, the facility was a little hard to get to due to road signs being replaced so not many were up. Didnt take a rocket scientist to find the place. Overall experience was great and I was ready to get off of I-5. ...

WOW, what can be said about Clearlake. What a beautiful spot for a Recreation facility so if your coming here for rest, peace and quiet, don't count on it the place is alive with family activity, squadron parties and alike. That's the purpose of this facility. Water activities are endless. Fishing is fantastic. The hosts Jim & Judi are outstanding, An example of how you can be friendly, respectful, courteous, good humored, and extremely helpful and still run an exellent,...

Great stopping place for seeing Crater Lake and Lava beds/caves, BX close for remodel during our stay. The base itself is very well kept and manicured. Showers at Base Gym are awesome. I like hot and lots of pressure. Everyone very courteous and helpful. Good bargin at $12.00 a day,
