This is a BEAUTIFUL campground! Close to all DC attractions. Back in Sites on the waterfront are just gorgeous! Pull Throughs in the middle sites are spacious and the back in wooded are very nice also. Level concrete and utilities are top notch. Clean bathroom and great $1.50 laundry. I feel $50 a night is more than fair for a beautiful quality site and close to DC. Try and pay that any closer to DC. You won’t double it at...

WARNING?? I called first thing June 14, 2018 (9am) Karen answered the phone. I told her I needed reservations to stay at this facility. Before I could get much more out of my mouth she transferred me to Navy Bed reservation. I stayed on the line and finally an operator came on. I explained I needed reservations for June 14, 2018 which were same day as we would be arriving around 3 pm. The operator at Navy Bed told...

There is a lovely pond with fountain that people were fishing in. Beautiful nature walk area and children's play yard adjacent to campground. There are quite a few long term people. We arrived late afternoon on a Sunday. I called camp host and got no answer but we drove to...

Great for the Price to see Newport Rhode Island mansions and beaches! Okay so the facilities are a little bare bones. W/E only. Gravel sites are fairly level with a nice table. That's about it but the VIEW! Okay the shrubs and trees obscure some of the view but still you have a water view for $20 bucks a night that the campsite 1 mile down the street that gets almost a 80 bucks a night for just grass/pastoral...

This is a great stopover to tour New England! Boston is a short drive but I highly suggest driving to the Alewife Station which is appx 7 miles away. The subway is cheap and easy to negotiate. Driving to Newport Rhode Island is easy and worth the drive to see the fantastic Mansions. We toured Gloucester and Salem plus all the little seaside towns between on the scenic highway. The park takes no reservation but don't worry. Ann Marie...
