We stopped here to get a break from the heat after visiting Crater Lake. The Kingsley Kampground is located right next to the Klamath Falls Airport. Take exit 3 (Washburn Way) off of highway 140 and head south to Joe Wright Road (first stop sign). Turn left onto Joe Wright Road, cross the railroad tracks and turn right on Airport Way. Immediately look for the Kingsley Field Monument Marker and veer right into the Main Gate. Ask the gate guard...

This place was above what we expected after reading the posts from a year ago. The site was perfect, all hookups worked with no issues. The main common bathroom/laundry combo was clean and useful. Showered and then was able to do laundry while I caught up on my emails with the wireless. The camp was full and we weren't able to stay an extra night as we had hoped. It it was our own fault for not doing it quick...

The BEST military campground that we have stayed at so far! The only thing missing was WIFI, 82 cable channels though. The staff sponsored daily events for the campers. There is miniature golf, shuffle board, plenty of biking trails and a swimming hole. This camp ground is open to the public and not on the main installation. We are all for this...more revenue for improvements! Commissary was small but well stocked. The REC Center appears brand new and has pool...

Top tip; as stated in previous postings STAY TO THE FAR RIGHT LANE when entering the gate. There are lack of direction signs to the FAMCAMP. Just remember left at first traffic light. Sites were nice and bathhouse clean. There is a fitness path that circles around the airfield. You can ride your bike to the main portion of the base without being on the road. Excellent PX and commissary. A choice between two fitness centers. WIFI available at Education...

Excellent FAM CAMP! Nice location, within walking distance of the lakes and shoppette. Bath house cleaned daily. VERY friendly and helpful staff. Excellent commissary, BX and Fitness Center. ITT is located in the Hobby Shop but has little to offer in the Little Rock area. The base library has free WIFI with a 4 seated chair/desk lobby which is open 24/7. VERY CONVENIENT!

Upon arrival on a Sunday I went to talk to the Camp Host who informed me that there was someone on duty 7 days a week now. All arrivals should check in at the FAM CAMP main office during business hours before selecting an open spot. We told the on duty host which spot we desired but she informed us that that particular site was taken. There is NO advance reservations accepted at this FAM CAMP so I still don't...

No doubt about it...this is REMOTE CAMPING!!! We made reservations with no problem. Entered the far right gate and proceeded to the Bldg 301 located on the left hand side. Courtney had given us site RV 3. She gave us keys to the gate and electric box. She also gave us a copy of directions (exact mile calculation per turn) and the campground map. The cost of staying was increased to $10 a night. She also informed us that all...

Very secluded camp ground. Cathy was very friendly and informative about Fort Stewart and the new "4th Brigade" facilities. The bathhouse was very clean and the laundry facility was spacious and free!!! The only drawbacks were no sewage hookups and the mosquitoes could air lift you out of the campsite in a heart beat!!! Plenty of bike trails to ride and the alligators in the pond were fun to watch in the morning. 4th BDE's fitness center was AWESOME! Brand...

OUTSTANDING!!! As soon as we drove into the park, Doc the campsite host immediately took care of us. He was full of sound local knowledge about the base and Charleston. The bathhouse was awesome. Individual rooms with a sink, toilet and shower. The laundry facility was $1 to wash and .25 to dry. These facilities are cleaned daily. The folks at ITT were fantastic at answering our questions and steering us to the BEST tourist attractions in the area....

We began our trip around the USA at this location. This was our very first camp site to shake out our new RV. The folks here were very friendly and they gave us our choice of site. We picked one of the newer upgraded sites that was equipped with a lighted electric box with TV cable, which was able to pick up 7 channels. Cost was $17.50. The lakeside view was fantastic as was the mountain biking "fire break" trails....
