Are you kidding me? After many years and mega-miles of travel and visiting our wonderful military bases and famcamps, I am appalled at what I found at the Malmstrom AFB Famcamp annex. There has been no updates to this place in a long, long time. There is nothing but weeds everywhere (although I will admit that the camp host Don and his very helpful wife are doing their damn-est). The people or person in charge of the Outdoor Recreation decided...

Beale is the place to be is you are looking for peace and quiet. The layout is somewhat unique, although I have seen it before, and provides lots of room between the sites, plenty of green grass an shade. My wife and I have been here several times, and use it as a base when visiting our kids in Marysville. The Commissary and Exchange are pretty much like everywhere else, not really offering very much savings, but Wal-Mart is right...

Well maintained and clean! Cost for stay is more than it should be. Restaurant on site, apparently open to public, but I dont know for sure. Not close to any attractions other than Indian Reservations and Olympic Rain Forest. This is good spot to stay while visiting Olympic Peninsula.

Good place to use as home base for seeing Seattle, Mount Ranier, and other local attractions. RV Camp is a bit pricey, and there is a charge for fishing in the lake. Sites are clean and well maintained, with many of them located adjacent to the lake. Not a place where I would want to vacation, but really okay for the traveler who is only going to be here a couple of days.

Beautiful park! The long-term RVers are for the most part a thing of the past. I only saw one left. 20 RV hookup sites with wonderful ocean view for $8. per nite. RV Dump Station on site. Clean comfortable and quiet. The camp host is intent on making your stay pleasant, and taking care of the camp. He has made "Earth Totums" from flip flops found on the beach over a two year period, as well as several from fishing...

We first checked in at San Onofre and was so disappointed, but after inquiries we moved up to the lake and had a really nice space overlooking the lake. The spaces which overlook the lake have only water and electric, but that is okay as the view makes it worth it. The fishing was lousy for us, but we did see some others who had landed fish. The full hook up spots are in a shaded meadow and a very...
