Review Detail

Nice place. Sealions, pelicans, herons, other water birds very plentiful. Very nice beach right across the road. Water too cold for swimming without a wet suit. Little bit of aircraft noise, it's an active Naval Air Station after all. Blue Angels really light the place up during their annual air show. Some of the sites are a little tight getting into. I was parked with rear wheels within a foot of pavement in order to get sewer hose attached. Camp host left a unfriendly/threating note on my door demanding that I move forward so that rear wheels were on pavement or I would be visited by base security. Clean laundry room and rest room. Small exchange, no commissary. Couldn't find diesel on base. They have a drive through coin operated RV wash station near the exchange.
