This was a real nice campground, but over the pass couple of years it has gone down hill. It is becoming a trailer park. There are many permanent campers here, not only the SGM's Academy but some others that should have moved on. The bathrooms are nice, but the cleaning is getting worse all the time, the toilets are stain with hard water deposits, which could be taken care of in a timely manner. They don't do first echelon maintenance around the grounds, toilet sets are loose, the campers leave the lights on and the doors open, which lets the bugs and dirt in and gets everything nasty, and makes for a very undesirable situation as someone could hide in there and when a woman or child goes in, well, you know what could happen. It makes you wonder what kind of upbringing these people have had. Around the grounds, there are shrubbery that needs to be trimmed back away from the walk ways, there is dead brush and a small tree or two that needs to be taken away, weeds aplenty that needs taken care of. The curbs have been broken and messed up for a few years now. The campers (some) let their pets do their thing in the dog park and never pick up behind them and nothing is done to the offenders. Lot of the sites looks like a junk yard. More than 2 vehicles, cargo trailers etc. Other than that, this is a good RV Park, conveniently located to Fort Bliss and El Paso.
