I can't say enough good things about this park. We've been here several times and each time gets better. The hosts, Malcolm and Joan are about the best anywhere. We were told that the hosts can only stay here for 3 months and have to move on. Pelican Roost should look at this system. One big improvement from our last visit 2 years ago is the paving of the main street through the park to the cabins. It cuts down on the dust but it provides a better opportunity for the speeders. The cabin occupants have to use this road for access and that is where most of the speeders come from. The map brochure we received at check-in stated that 35 additional campsites were being developed on Jackson Court. Another brochure listed this area as the Jackson Court Overflow with 3 full hookup sites and 21 dry sites. We took a ride down there and found no changes from last time we were here. They do have 3 full hookup sites and several dry sites but there has been no development. WiFi was unacceptable. We did use the base library for that purpose and it met our needs quite well. The Blue Angels as usual were great. This time we chose to sit at the park and watch the show rather than fight the crowds at the museum. You can wash your vehicles on site but can't use any chemicals. There is a wash area down the road past the museum but if you go take your hose with you. The ones here are rotted and unusable. This is one of our favorite parks and we will continue to come back.
