Review Detail
March 2009
J.F. left this review using the Directory software: As other reviews stated, this campground is small. Jeff, the host, is doing his best to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. Hookups may require extensions depending on site. The "back to back" sites are old pull throughs modified into 2 sites. Campground was full on Wednesday when we arrived but there were several open sites when we left on Sunday. Make sure you have reservations and that they know what rig you have. We are a 40' Class A with 4 slides. It was tight but do able. You can walk to the commissary, bring the cart home, off load, and then return the cart. Rumor has it that funding has been approved for a new campground down "by the water". We will definitely be stopping by again and hope that Jeff will still be there doing his thing.
