You must drive thru housing to get to campground. Campground is clean. Has full hook-ups. Lots of places to bike ride. Real close to Joshua Tree Nat park. No picnic tables or fire rings at campsites. Has a lot of snowbirds. Reservations recomended. Joshua Tree National Park within 5 miles. Great spot in spring to see wildflowers bloom in the desert. It would have been nice to have a picnic table to eat outside on. And a fire pit for the kids to do marshmallows. Has a nice playground for the grandkids. Lots of sand that blows with the wind.
