S.K. left this review using the Directory software: - Our first visit to Charleston area and Foster Creek. As reported in earlier reviews, "Doc" is still here and greeted us as we pulled into the park. Extremely helpful. Sites are concrete and level, with plenty of parking. Although some sites are bordered by large trees, didn't have a problem with OTA antenna, and saw several dish satellites around the grounds. Great area to walk your pets on trail through woods to a creek...watch for gators! There is a large restroom trailer with 6 individual restroom/showers (one ACA), and laundry room with 3 washers and 3 dryers. Will definitely recommend this for anyone visiting this area...about 30+ minutes from historic district, and plenty of good restaurants and shopping close by, if you don't want to use the base facilities within 5 minutes drive of campground. Both Weapons Station and JAB have golf courses, with the Air Force course (Wrenwood) being better (more difficult) of the two, but a 35 minute drive from campgrounds. The Navy course, Redband Plantation, is a short course and only 5800 from the tips.
