We had SOS in the AF, too. Have to say it is one of my favorites. Going to the chow hall at o'dark thirty after pulling a mid and eating a bunch of SOS was pure heaven.

I too, searched for the recipe, but came up empty-handed. After a bunch of trial and error, I pretty much came up with the one melbin mentioned. A good twist is to use a pound of jimmy dean sage (or maple) sausage instead of the hamburger.

When my kids come home for a visit, they always request Dad's SOS.

Another favorite request is Mongolian BBQ. I have the recipe for that, too. I think I got it from Fairchild, but can't remember. It's not really a recipe as it is an ingredients list.

Well, a little more searching and I found the .pdf I had seen years ago. It is a little dated (2007/2008), but it is a start. Something more current would be useful.

I know this was a topic 4 years ago, but it never was answered very well -- actually, not at all. Does anyone know of any Canadian military campgrounds that we can use?

At one time, mabye 6 years ago, I had run across a .pdf of Canadian military campgrounds, but I sure can't find it now. It would certainly be nice to be able to visit some Canadian military locations....
