Same thing happened at McCord AFB. Not only were they homesteading but leaving their dog pen on camp site to reserve while they were away for a week. another parks their 5th wheel , live locally and come visit the site "some" weekends. I thought the military was going to CLEAN THIS UP... I know they did at Nellis and the campground is SOOOO attractive.

Can someone recommend an alternative good road from Moab to Hill AFB? We are traveling in a 32 ft fifth wheel with an f250.

  • Judith BrackettBob Hines we are reverse snowbirds and heading to southern utah to visit the beautiful parks and on to the west coast. Our plan, as it stands now is to travel route 10 W , over 40 and up Route 15 to St. George Utah. We are traveling in a 32 ft. ft. fifth wheel. Can anyone offer advice on what could be a better route? Thanks

  • Judith Brackett replied to the topic Re: NW Coastal Route / US-101 in the forums.
we are reverse snowbirds and have traveled in all 48 states. However the coastal route 101 from northern Californai to Washington state is our favorite. The summers are cool and sunny and we enjoy the people. There is so much to see and do along this route. Enjoy.
