Andrew, We rode our bike on Ellsworth last year 2010 to get our medicines refilled. We had long pants, long sleeve shirts, boots, DOT helments, my husband wears glasses and I had on sunglasses. This was in the daylight hours and were not asked to put on reflective vest. We only showed our ID cards and no other cards were asked of us. You might want to call early for Sturgis. I hear the campground there is always full. If you do not get in at Ellsworth check out Sand Creek RV Park in Beulah, WY. It's about 30 miles to Sturgis. Tell the owners Herb and Karen sent you. We were camphost there last year. It's a nice quiet campground, and not wild like the campgrounds around Sturgis. If you've not been to Sturgis or the black hills you are in for the most beautiful rides you have ever been on. Have fun and ride safe.792 days ago [Remove]
