The location is in the foothills of George Washington National Forest on a branch of the Potomac River and one can watch the trout swimming from the cottage deck. Quiet and somewhat remote. The staff was terrific as was the accomodations. There are several cottages as well as some suite setups. We stayed in a two BR cottage, washer/dryer, cable, really nice. Retirees are allowed to dine in the dining facilities and the food was great. Small Exchange, however the essentials were available. Overall, somewhat off the beaten path, but really a relaxing and peaceful area. If I am ever in the area I will definitely stay again. A great destination stay.
