The only spot left out of 12 was site number 1. Stayed for 2 nights, had problem with getting to the dump service. The dump is on a curb and I had to build a 1 foot high path to it. I did not have any thing to build it up and got to looking around and behind the fence is a 12 foot cut in half 4" PVC pipe to do the trick. Once set up it worked just fine. Nothing to speak of on the base but it was close to where we wanted to be at the time. We would go back but with only 12 sites I would be concerned to get a site. People were very helpful. Nice quiet place to lay over while traveling through the area. Some what off the beaten path but the price is right. No facilities, self contained only, E/W/S at each site. Gravel and some concrete pads, all are back-ins. Big rig friendly, no tree issues. Washing vehicles permitted. Air Card and cell service via Alltel/Verizon. Easy satellite access. Small shoppette with class VI. Would stay here again. Nov 20054 of 4 people found the following review helpful
People here are very helpful and accomodating. Cement base for RV. Sites are private, protected with small trees to 15 ft high. Had not been cleaned of storm debris but usable. Since Nat Guard took over, they do not get many visitors except at annual maneuvers. Tenkiller lake good fishing and bird hunting. Muscogee about 25 miles for shopping. No BX or Commissary. |
