From I-65 North or South, take exit 102. This is HWY 313 going West. Go 11 miles to first stop light and turn right (North) onto US 31W. Go 9 miles from this stop light, through the town of Radcliff and past the main entrance to Fort Knox, and you will be at another stop light. At this light take a left turn onto US 60 West, go about 2.5 miles. Camp Carlson is at the bottom of the hill on the right side of the road. At the turn in, stay to the right. The office is the first building you will see. |

120 day stay limit. Higher rates are for pull-thru sites. Lodging rates vary on dates and accommodation size. Dump station available at campground ($2 for guests). Located just five minutes from the heart of Fort Knox, Camp Carlson Army Recreational Area spans 65 acres of natural beauty, with a 25 acre lake that Catfish, Bluegill, Crappie and Bass call home. Camp Carlson is the perfect setting for an escape week, weekend or day and is ideal for Unit, family and extended family outings. There are NO tours to the gold vault. |
