Hitches are all about weight of the trailer and sway....the trailer should ALWAYS be within the limits of the tow vehicle. you may need a trailer brake controller about $100 and weight distribution hitch for the sway that may happen..also you may need air shocks or air bags to lift the rear end of the van to TOW LEVEL.each class of hitch lists the weight that it will be comfortable with
