The Walmart greeter was called into the manager's office for a supervisory conference. The manager said "Bob, you do a great job here and everyone likes you, but you are regularly late by 10 or 15 minutes almost every morning".

Bob replied "I'm sorry about that, I'll try to do better from now on."

The manager continued "I understand you are retired from the military, surely that was not acceptable there - what did people say when you came into work late there?

Bob replied "Usually, they just said 'Good morning, Admiral'"
