Needed our Pelican Roost fix so came here before going home. Was surprised to see how full the campground is already for this early in the season. The new fitness center had their grand opening yesterday so all you guys and gals who workout when here are probably going to love it. The updated TV cable system is in operation and there are about 70 channels to choose from. We called one day ahead to see if we could get in and got site 40 and it has a perfect view of the athletic fields and enjoy watching the little ones practicing soccer. Also not quite as windy back here so just may request a back row when we make a reservation in the future. As usual all is neat and clean and still is our #1 military campground to go to as it has so much to offer in the area and the view is unmatched by any other military campground we have been to. We miss Janet and Jorge who hosted last year as they kept in touch with folks even after they arrived and got settled. No host has touched base with us yet but Kathy and Woody are always the best welcoming committee you could ask for.
