Nice concrete pads, clean shower rooms and excellent camp hosts! Ocean is right there and there is a nice outdoor shower to wash the sand off before going back to your RV. Just wish it was a bit cheaper so I could stay more often and longer :)

I stayed in the "old section", site #4, and felt it was the best site in both sections (loved the trees and shade). Very well stocked shopette and mini BX with great prices. The base was very well maintained. After hours: check in the gym front desk but they don't have a map of the sites and don't know anything, so know your site number before arrival. Sites 1-4 are located by the MWR shop and trailer homes - 5 on up are in the new section by the water. Never did find out where the bathouse was...Great new Wal-Mart near by also. Loved the stay there and look forward to returning!

I agree with the folks who have visited this campground and found it lacking. I drove thru there a while back and it was awful!. The sites were overgrown and people left garbage and old, dirty toys and plastic storage containers in the site which were not removed. I will do another drive thru soon and talk to the 1 SVS CC if it is still trashed. I did not think they paid anyone to watch over the campground due to its condition. I am not proud for anyone to know I retired from Langley recently :)

Very nice place to stay for the view! A little pricy at $44+ a night and the ammenities are only open during the "summer" (Jun-Aug?). Extremly difficult to find because the directions were bad. The bridge was washed out and they did not say anything to me when I made reservations about the "detour". You should stay here at least once. I plan on staying at less expensive places next time :)
