New park and the nicest Famcamp we have been to, and we have been to some nice ones. Navy spent $4 Million to build the new park. It is a fantastic facility. Host Ken is terrific and has spread some of his whimsical artwork around the park...The view is fantastic. Sites on concrete pads. Now have 59 sites. Most have satellite access. Number 59 did not. Expensive for a famcamp but worth every penny. Be sure to drive to the Coupeville lighthouse. Now adding wi-fi. Great Barber shop on base.

Entering from Roy Gate was no problem with barriers for my big rig, but a long way to the Famcamp....Get a map from the guard....Howard was not particularly friendly but efficient and businesslike, so I have no real complaint there. I arrived on weekend and camp host Dee was very efficient and friendly.... Famcamp was busy with rigs in overflow every night. The pull thru sites are on concrete pads with side by side hookups. Camp is well kept. Nice large doggy park... Lots of amenities on base. Reservations suggested here. Overall a well run and attractive campground
