My Wife and I came to DC for the first time, and this was the perfect place to stay, for the week. It was near to Metrorail that we used, once we got the hang of it, very easy to get around. The facilities were clean, Roads gravel and good. The office not open very much, but most folks are out sightseeing. Great place to stay for the money, and of course security. Near a gate, so access was easy. Full hook-up. Would stay again, given the chance. Being on a base, amenities were not needed, as they have golf for those who like that, a club on base I think, library, etc. When I did go in the office, the help was very friendly, and helpful.

We visited this Campground for a few days, in April 2006, and totally enjoyed this facility. The Office Staff was very helpful, very friendly, and knowledgable. We stayed in overflow the first night, as they were full, after that, moved to a pull-thru space. Very Clean, friendly, well laid out, and of course "on base, you cannot beat security, and you have access too all the facilities anyone would need". We will be there again in September, as my last Ship is having it's Reunion in Tucson for 2007. A great place to Camp.
