Ditto the last review. We arrived on a Saturday, got our site assignment envelope from the board, proceeded to the assigned site to find it occupied. Went to 2 host sites, no one available. Found an emergency phone number at host site, called and they said they would be back in 20 minutes. So we sat in our RV waiting. While waiting another guest arrived and found his assigned site occupied. Host arrived, opened office, and was able to find a open site. Stayed there 8 nights, Office closed Sat&Sun,hours Mon&Tues 8-1, W,T,F, 8-4. Host were never around when office was closed. FamCamp map shows 3 host sites. I saw them cleaning the showers one time, I wonder what their job description is? This is the 21st AF FamCamp We have visited, along with many other Army and Navy RV parks, the has to be one of the lowest rated.

New spaces only have 30amp/water, and the price is the same as for the full hookups, 50amp/water/sewer/cable. All other famcamps I have visited have two tier pricing, base on services a sites. Also if you get a 30amp/water site and wish to move to a full hookup site when it comes available, it is who gets to the vacated site the quickest after being vacated. This lack of organization can cause some interesting situations. Signing a request list would eliminate some ill feelings. Nice park and great location for visiting San Antonio.
