The Sigsbee RV Park MWR staff and camp volunteers set the Gold Standard for customer service in a really big operation. In multiple visits to Key West, we have never made it off the wait list for a full hookup site, but dry camping at Sigsbee is as painless as it can be. Two large improvements since our last visit; 1. The chickens that some terrorist snuck on base from downtown Key West have disappeared. Dry camping in hot weather with all the windows open, and having the chickens announce dawn at 0300 used to be a major annoyance. 2. The Sunset Lounge has a new chef and menu; the food is excellent, and the beer is still inexpensive.

Our Number One Favorite military campground, used twice a year to/from South Florida and the Keyes; a well designed full service park, very well managed, and pet friendly. Note: the NEX Service Station does now offer diesel fuel at competitive prices. Overhead clearance at pump is marked "12ft."
